Manuscript requirements

• Manuscript should be written in English and submitted as a single MS Word or PDF file (including figures and tables). This file will be used for reviewing purposes. High quality pictures (if any) will be submitted separately in case of acceptance of the manuscript, when you will be asked to send us all the source files in a ZIP file (Here you can find instructions on how to create a ZIP file from your documents.)
• Croatian Medical Journal subscribes to Uniform requirements for manuscripts submitted to biomedical journals of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.
• Detailed guidelines for authors can be found at http://www.cmj.hr/Guidelines/Guidelines.pdf. Please carefully follow the guidelines when preparing a manuscript for submission.
• The authors should check the accuracy of all reference citations. For samples of reference citation formats, authors should consult National Library of Medicine web site. The titles of journals should be abbreviated according to the style used in Index Medicus. Consult the list of Journals Indexed for MEDLINE. Please, do not provide Pubmed IDs in the references.
• Croatian Medical Journal supports the registration of trials as an important initiative to improve the reporting of clinical studies. Trial registers that currently meet all of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and World Health Organization (WHO) requirements can be found at http://www.icmje.org/faq.pdf.
• The copyright of all material published is vested in the Croatian Medical Journal.
